Thanks for the emails. Quinn is doing greet! All our dogs great us when we come in the door and now Quinn runs in
to greet also. He has his 1st flyball tournament this weekend. We are going to tent camp at the site. We will take him
up to the racing ring throughout the weekend so he gets use to all the screaming dogs and yelling people. He will get
to meet the rest of the ...(our flyball club name) people and dogs. We took him and Oliver (my Aussie) to pet food
express tonight for baths and Doug was there with Rogue and Rory(his other BC). He did fine, we didn't blow him dry.
He is a great pup you may be sorry you didn't keep him. Hope you don't mind all the updates Jeanine
Quinn had his 1st road trip and he did great! At first he was tentative but by Sunday he was having a great time.
There were alot of new puppies at the tournament so he had some puppy play time. He and Rouge played a little also.
The rest of the time was lesson time. He now walks nicely on leash and got use to all the noise at the flyball tournament.
Of course everyone had to pet and talk to him so he got use to alot of strange people coming up to him. This week I
am going to start training him on the flyball box and teaching him to go over the jumps (set 6"). We are going to take
him to agility class this week with Lillian and Willow. He is completely at home here now and gets into the toy
baskets and runs around with the toys in his mouth. Breakfast and dinner time he runs to his crate, like everyone else,
to eat. He has already grown some since he has been here. I will keep a look out for the new blue puppy pictures. Jeanine
Thanks I will print it up when I get home. I took Quinn to meet my friend and her new puppy(a Mal) today. My friend
is a trainer, she liked Quinn and said I had done a great job in a couple of weeks with him(recall and sit and down)
He really liked Jolie, her new puppy(4mos. old). We have a big agility trial in 2 weeks. Jolie will be there well as
my other friend who has a flat coated retriever ((7mos.). She showes her dogs as well as does agility. It will be inter
easting to see how Jolie and Quinn do with Marley. You know the 3rd man out thing. Quinn likes to roll in Stinky stuff
just like Willow and he is finding out that inside dogs have to be bathed when they stink. He came to my house
last night and discovered my cat.Toby is dog wise, I will bring Quinn home more so he is use to Toby because Toby
sometimes travels with us on flyball and agility trips. I will send you our xmas card as soon as I get a good sit
stay on Quinn. I am hoping to get it taken in a couple of weeks. Thanks Jeanine

Hi. My name is Rose and I have my breeding female from Cherokee, Iowa. I thought it was a gift
from God to find your web site when I was just about to throw the computer out the window today. I live in Vermont and
have had two litter of pups that I have been unable to register because the male is ABCA reg'ed while my female is IABC and
ISS. I have had the worst time with Patty Rogers and I am nearly bald!! I tried your cell number but am getting
a message that it is not working. I would love to talk with you - and am hoping that you have a current address for
the IABC registry secretary??? I love your web site!! And your story and dogs! We are going
to Disney soon - any chance your pup is at Disney World? Thanks for your time and consideration and I look
forward to hearing from you soon. Rosie
Good for you!!! It was do nice talking to you, Mary. I am looking forward to making contact with Jeff.
I will definitely be registering with both assoc's. And I am looking forward to staying in touch with you. Thanks
for all the info. Have a great day. Rosie

Hi Mary,
Just writing to let you know that callie's injury just isn't getting any better. She has such a hard time getting up.
The vet really can't find anything on her x rays, her hips look good her spine looks good, we have to guess that she has a
nerve pinched some where? Something happened to her to make her fall? A couple weeks before she fell she accidentally head
butted a rather large ground hog. So we don't know if maybe she had a head injury from that, that may have caused her to fall?
We just don't know. We put her back on prednisone a couple of weeks ago, it does help her tremendously, but she drinks so
much water, and has to pee every 30 minutes it seems. She sometimes has accidents on the kitchen floor (not her fault). I
don't like keeping her on the prednisone, but she feels so much better on it. She can run and play, and romp around almost
like she used to.
I noticed that not long after she hurt herself, that she developed a dark spot in each of her eyes? They seem to move,
for instance when she is upright they are at the bottom of the brown part of her eyes, and if she lies upside down they seem
to float to the top of the brown part of her eyes? She absolutely refuses to let the doc look into her eyes. LOL! So he really
isn't sure what they are, have you ever seen anything like this? There are not a lot of Border Collies in this area, so I
was wondering if this might be something breed specific? The other guess is that maybe when she head butted the ground hog,
it's possible that maybe she had a blood clot? We really don't know? She seems to see fine.
At any rate her pain doesn't get her down, as soon as the ball comes out, or the back door opens, the adrenaline takes
over and she's off. There is no stopping her. So as much as I don't like her on the meds, if that's what it takes for her
to be less painful, and to do the things that she enjoys doing than so be it. I just love her soooo much that I hate to see
her painful and mopey, which is how she is without the prednisone.

Patrick, the BC that I got from the people in Delaware is doing great, he is living in Hawaii and working on a VERY large
sheep station, he picked the herding up on instinct alone and is a non-replaceable part of the crew...

Hey Mary,
This is Ben. I bought Bo from you a couple of years ago. He is doing great and is such a wonderful
pet. I want to stud him out but I have moved and I can't locate his pedigree. Can you help me out by telling me how to get
another copy so I can have proof of registration? You can either write me back at this address or you can call me.

Thank you for sharing. I can see that Sue’s Gael was a favorite of yours and you are missing her very much.
We are so sorry that she is gone also. You will be happy to know that Sioux, now Juilette, is doing just fine.
Joey and Simeon are checking on her daily. She had a bath, several special treats, and walks on the leash with both
Joey and with Sam. She is progressing and we have high hopes. There is no doubt she will be able to round up the
animals. Sam is working on establishing the bond that will encourage her to obey the commands they will need to work
as a team. She loved being at the farm and she likes the other two labs that we have. They are maternal in nature.
I will send you pictures of her progress. Hope you have a happy Valentine’s day today.

Oh yeah....Feather caused a ruckus this
morning. My house mate had the shower running. We have one of those shower heads on the hose type thingies. She leftthe water
running while she got her clothes, and came back into a dog in the bathtub.

Magic is doing well, he is getting use to the noises in the house. His personality is starting to show. He
is cute. He is fine with my other dogs. His border personality shows with the cats. He chases and herds
them.

The picture isn't fuzzy..its hank...he's had one too many lol These have got to be Hank's All Time Favorite Toys,
abit on the expensive side at $20.00 but they are a thick rubber or something i'm not sure really but they take a great deal
of abuse, I got these from a friends wife who is also Hank's professional groomer. Its a pair of squeeky bottles, the one
in this photo is a "HeinieSniffin" and the other is a " O' Drools" Hank is fond of the HeinieSniffin' bottle because its
a better squeeker than the other one lol.

Hi Barbara!
Thank you so much for referring me to Mary! We picked up our new girl this weekend. She is so sweet, we love her to pieces!
She is a small girl, but she's got some growing to do yet, she hasn't grown into her paws, and still acts puppyish. I know
in other breeds of dogs, the big paws and open joint spaces mean growing, so I'm betting she'll get another three to 5 inches
in height. She has beautiful colorings!
She's only a year old, so it looks like spring/summer 2009 we will have our first ever litter of border collie puppies!
I want to make sure I do everything just right by her, Sketcher and the babies! LOL so I'm already nervous, happy and excited and
it's still a long way off!
Ok, I'm rambling on like an idiot, but I wanted to say thank you so very much for your help!
Angie

Dogs are settling in well. You sure was right about being able to let them run loose without
worring about them taking off. Both of them have great tempermants, I really do like them both. I have to say I think Jen
is my fav tho :) Hopefully it won't fill back up. Im going to check on her later today at the milk barn. They seem to have
taken up with me well. They are both well behaved much better then I ever imagined actually. You did a good job with socializing
for sure!

Hi, I just wanted to give you an update on Rosie; She is so much fun to run around with and she is jumping around and acting
like a puppy. ... she is putting on weight eating good and just acting like a puppy. She is loving the snow. At first she
was a little scared but now she is jupping around and having too much fun. We have about 6 inches of snow but we have drifts
about 2 feet and she went into a little drift (about 1 1/2 feet) and it went up to her neck. But she got herself out and continued
playing with our other border collie. She has grown about 3 inches so she is a little bigger. Here are some pictues of
her after a rough day of play:)

Mary: Here are some recent photos of Seamus and feel free to post them to your website. Seamus is a wonderful lad
and we love him to death. Last Friday, we took him to see Dr. Mc to remove his manhood He is recovering well, but has
to wear the Elizabethean collar longer. I also have attached a picture of our previous Bordershortly before he was put down.
We really enjoy Seamus as he is much more affectionate than your average BC.
God Bless you and your family and have a Merry Christmas.

Deacon
Hi! We advertised publicly yesterday and had phone calls all day and night for the
pups!!!!!!!!!!!! No one was even a little bit concerned about the ABCA. They were all excited about the IBCA, most didn't
care, some of the older cattle people had had borders and had NO interest in any registration! They are just beautiful.
Our female's parents were OFA certified. Were either of Deacon's parents certified
for eyes or hips? I don't think I had ever asked that and wanted to before it came up.
Again, I wish you could see our Deacon, he is soooooooooooooooo gorgeous and one of
the pups is marked just liked him! We call him Big Bad and Bodacious! :-) Three pups are sold already. The ONLY even slightly
reserved pup, perfectly, like a collie marked, is going to one of our youth group from church kids, he has a single mom, rather
financially strained. The kid will be a leader of the strong Christian type someday and will be a wonderful mate for someone.
He wants one so badly, but couldn't pay for him. Came out and looked again and again. So, he is going to paint corrals and
fence for us to pay it off! Anyway, we are having a blast.

I understand. I think we got a good handle on it now. Sorry I didn't call you yesterday after his
vet visit. He passed with flying colors. They were all impressed with how cute and sweet he is. Dr. M was
on vacation so he will see him when he goes back in 3 weeks for a booster. He was none to happy being left in a kennel
this morning when I left for work. I felt it was to cold outside to leave him out. I will go home at lunch and
let him out and leave him outside for the afternoon!...
Thank you for the advise. I will do that. You were right. We have all fell totally in love
with him!. My parents are coming over tonight to meet him. The friend that went with us to the airport and helped
with the baths wants to take him home! Any more with his disposition?

Hi Mary,
Just wanted to let you know that I got my pup home safe and sound. You're right, he's even more gorgeous

soon. Thanks again, and I'll be sure to send you a picture of him on our carriage!

Rogue is doing well. He is still full of energy. Very mischievous. Likes to go around and push things over with

surprised me. All in all he is a good boy.

Deacon
Just wanted you to know that Deacon has his first litter of pups. They are GORGEOUS. Their mamma
is beautiful and shows great, great promise with cattle. We have two, possibly three more sold this week. They are one week
old only. The vet sonogramed Meg to make certain everything was all right and thought there were six. No, there were eight.
She is a great mother. Deacon is just the best family friend and cow hand. And thank you for all the help with IBCA and USFDR.
Meg is also AKC and ABCA and we have been "educating" people on why we went with IBCA. Most don't care, but an ABCA guy had
no idea. So, thanks for all the help guiding us to IBCA.
May you have a great fall! I will tell you again, thanks for the Deacon boy. He is just a super
dog and so very loved!

Hi Mary,
It's us again, and Finn is doing well. We'd like to register him, but the IBCA (in the email they
sent me which we forwarded below) said that we need to get the application from you. I know you said you were going to
send in the papers, but what must I do to get him registered under my name? Attached (sorry I was having trouble pasting
it directly on the message) is a picture of Finn taken 6/2/07, he and Tally just love each other and he is so amazing
at herding. Thanks again.

Hi Mary. This is Joyce. Wanted to give you an update on how the puppy Givin is doing. After one week,
he is our dog! He follows us everywhere. When we go to the garden, he is right with us. He sleeps inside
and barks when strangers come which is good. He has been to the vet's office and got a perfect vet check.
He got the remaining shots, and we put him on flea and heartworm preventative. We cannot thank you enough
for this wonderful puppy. He filled a hole in our hearts, Mary.
Hi Mary, Sorry
it has been so long since I emailed you. I was trying to wait until I had some agility pictures to send you and then
a bunch of classes got postponed because of rain and flooding here. Anyway, we had class tonight so I have new pictures
for you!!! Hope everything is going well
at your place. Enjoy the pics. Sarah

WOW! You are amazing! I just got up an hour ago! Have let pups all out and fed them but I am DEAD!!!
Started dozing on 301 and scared myself so at the 301/75 junction, pulled over and slept ~ got home at 5 this morning.
Let everyone run their hearts out, put them up and fell in the bed! My hands and fingers were all swollen when I woke
up ~ don't know why but the swelling is going down now ~ probably all the salt I put on my "carb" feast. I'm staying
up until at least 10 p.m. and then maybe I'll be back on track!
Anyway, I really miss the pups, the babies and especially "kitty kat!" I just love them to death and it was such
a joy being able to get to know them even better ~ their eyes are so human and intelligent! I loved talking to them.
Each one has a different personality. It thrilled me when Rosie finally recognized me. And even Crissy Sky Blue
got over being shy with me. Mac honored me when he finally came over to me on Sunday morning. Such a doll baby
he is! He sure missed you though! You must think I'm such a novice!!! Guess I am LOL! Well, I'm going
to get the car unloaded (maybe) ~ I really enjoyed taking care of them and I think I was starting to get better but it is
still an overwhelming task! I see how you love each one even the bratty ones!!! LOL BUT I I am sooooo
tired still ~ think it was the long trip more than taking care of the pups and the sun was so hot!

hey marry its brian dawns youngest i am just emailing you to bring you up to date on little simba.
She still likes to be my little shadow and she has been having loads of fun playing ball and doing what most pups her
age loves to do after all she only nine mounths old. Mom is finily letting her go up stars with me at nite and she has started
to go to work with mom once a week. And mom's vaction is coming up and i think simba is going to have a bucket loads of fun
with the fishing trips and all the fun things that she gets to do with the family.

Hi. Here are some recent Maggie pics. She is in her akward stage! Long legs and real skinny! SUPER
ACTIVE! Def. can herd and out run all my dogs and cat. She is adorable! Took her to the river the other
day and she knows how to swim. Doesn't love it (she followed my friend's dogs in) and probably would have stayed in longer,
but I was afraid to take off her leash! She also tried to chase every runner and biker on the trail (probably
need to get a halter collar so she doesn't pull on her neck). Lots of people were "oohh, aahh" over her and had to stop
and pet her and ask what she is! She knows a couple of tricks and learns in about 3-4 days of being consistent with
her! She likes to sleep most of the day and is up VERY late at night, but that is kind of my schedule too!
Try to have her sleep in my room, but she keeps pooping and peeing in it so I put her in the laundry room where she stays
when I am gone, although now in a kennel since she can VERY easily jump the baby gate, thought about buying another one to
put on top of it, but she will figure out how to climb that in a week too! Some of her baby teeth came out and I could
not believes 4 days later there were teeth already half grown in! She practices talking a lot and is starting
to get a little deeper! OK, I think I gave you more than a complete update, but I love her so much!!!! Lisa

Hi, she's doing fine she is already house broke, she knows the property boundries she is still trying to figure out how
to open the doors. She's going to be going be spayed the 26th. Then I'm going to have her chipped so that if anything
happens we will be able to find her quickly. Have you had any problems with the pet food recall? We were one of the lucky
ones we had a really good dog food from the start. I also don't feed soft food to my girls. She's growing like a weed. Her
last vet visit she was up to 26 lbs. She has attached herself to Brian. They go fishing and hiking together. He can't
wait for my vacation to get here because we're going camping for two whole weeks and she loves to travel you couldn't
have made a better choice for us. Her training for therapy is right on track. I don't want to give her too much to do
other wise she won't have time to be a puppy. That wouldn't do her any service at all she has to be a puppy first. As soon
as I can get some pictures I'll send you some. Talk to you later
Hi, a few years ago I purchased a grown female from you, Fanny (we renamed her Flurry). She is
a wonderful dog. I am considering getting another dog, what do you have available? Thanks.

webought Jade from you three years ago. We love her to death. We spoil her rotten. She sleeps where ever she wants and
sits where ever she wants. My daughter still plays with her everyday!

Hi. I think Maggie likes us! She is so adorable! I am already in love with her! She learned how
to go up and down stairs today and play ball (from my other dogs!)
When you get a chance to send me her papers

She absolutely LOVES the snow. We just had another huge dump of it and we are having a hard time convincing her
that she should come back in the house ... LOL. Sarah
maryann,
thought i would let you know that she is doing great.
she is a pip.atitude plus. not the shy one . eats everything, chews everything
and believes she can do everything as she please.
thanks again
dave
I hope this finds you well as it has been several years since we've been in contact. I was thinking of you the other
day and check the site often for new babies. I have a quiet moment and wanted to write and say hello. Joel and I are
no longer in S. GA..we moved back to Athens 2.5 years ago for Joel to attend Vet school. All is well. I am still in
graphics/design and work for a web company here in town. Aidan, our little boy, just turned three so there is never a dull
moment. Joel is finishing his second year of school and loves it -- he is totally at home in the Vet school. Another two years
and who knows where we'll be...either way we'll be in a position to get more land...and more dogs. And sheep. And maybe a
few llamas. :)
You have a lot of beautiful dogs on the site so I guess you are staying busy and doing well. All of our dogs are good
-- happy and healthy. Maya, the last pup we got from you (the blue merle) is the most beautiful and gentle girl we've ever
had. She stands on her own but loves people and is a real snuggler. She runs with me and is a great protector and companion.
I love her more than I thought I could ever love a dog. Nola and Duke (Joel's dad's dog) are also doing well -- everyone is
healthy which I guess is all you can ask for. We've thought about breeding Maya but know she has breeding limitations due
to her factor -- don't we need to stay away from red factor? I remember you saying something about it but can't remember.
I have pup fever and really want another one to love.
Right out our back door (literally 1.5 miles away) is a new agility course. I was on the board to raise money and get
it built -- people use it all the time. How convenient is that? It has really raised awareness in the community.
Please write when you can and let us know how you are. I'm sorry we lost touch. With the birth of Aidan and then the
move here, life got turned upside down. I think of you often and hope you are well.
All our best.
She's doing great and we already love her to pieces. She didn't make a peep all the way home last night.
We finally got to our house at 3:30 this morning ... yuck. She is phenomenal with the Papillons, is playing very
gently with them. She even likes the cat and the cat has approved of her too. As you can see from the pictures
she is feeling so comfortable she thought she might steal the cats food ... LOL. We are going to take her to agility
classes with us tonight so we can show her off.
Both boys are fine. Zip is priceless. I have to hide the box of frisbees under the bed. Otherwise, when
we have guests or are outside, and he wants one, he goes into the box and brings a brand new frisbee out, then unwraps it
and presents it for play.
Riley has a new sport.... they both think that the pool skimmer is a frisbee on a stick. You can't clean the
pool with out Zip being right there under your feet. Riley races back and forth behind him, waits for the best
time, then charges and shoves Zip into the pool.
Riley made it around the block (on a leash) for the first time EVER.... I was very proud of him. Zip
carries his own leash when we go for a walk, if I put it on him. He minds me better... I take him almost everywhere.
Riley has issues about traveling, but will go with me if I force him.
I am very happy with both dogs... they kept me very sane through my cancer treatments and are wonderful companions. They
are spoiled rotten....get groomed 1-2 times a day, lots of attention, and plenty of playtime.
I don't know if you remember me but I bought a puppy from you in 2002; we were the ones who emailed you back and
forth from California. Anyways, she is doing really well. We've been going
quite regularly to herding lessons for the past six months, and she keeps getting better and better and I keep learning
more. We have been thinking about getting another border collie to work. We are so pleased with our
girl and her personality and natural herding talents and have received so many compliments on her that
we thought maybe we should ask you what puppies you have for sale, before turning to a local breeder we don't know.
BJ (we've named him Finn) has been doing really well and getting along great with Tally and our
other dog. Yesterday we brought him with us when we took Tally to her herding lessons, and the trainer let him
into the arena for a few minutes. At first he was hesitant but then he took right to it, working beside the
trainer's dog as he was commanding her. His instincts were amazing! We'll be bringing him out for mini-sessions
each week, until he's ready to start with commands. My trainer was interested in his lines, could you
send me a copy of his lineage?
Could you answer some questions for me:
1) How do I go about registering the puppy with the IBCA?
Which form(s) must I print up and do I have to become a member first?
2) The date he got his vaccinations?
Long time huh. How is everything in Tenn. Well I have good news to report. As you can guess from the title Rayne
is going to have puppies.
I was wondering if you could send me some pics of Rayne's parents. Nikki and I are doing a lot of research on whelping
and how to aid Rayne. It seems like a lot of work. Was it difficult for you the first time? I hope that all goes well.
I remember you saying that Rayne would make a good mother. I have actually seen proof of that over the years. We took
in a lost puppy found near where I work. After we fixed him up, Rayne took him in like he was her own. It was an awesome
sight to see. I am very glad that Nikki and I made the choice to have Rayne be apart of our family.
I will send you pictures of the puppies when they arrive. I was wondering if you might help me in determining how to
classify the color combination that I might get.
Hope all is well and I will talk to you later,
Tallulah (aka Wet and Wild)
We'll send pictures soon. All the ones we have taken so far are blurred and don't show
off her adorable smile. Yes! She smiles! I didn't know dogs did that! Angela & Scott

Yes she was clean and pretty mellow, the kids just love her to pieces Brian was the one who found her at the airport
and they have bounded realy well she follows him everywhere. It's his job to socialize her. She walks on a leash quite well
and she stays right beside him. Yes it was perfectly alright for you to call my work because I called them to see if
you called. My phone was home on the charger. Stephanie says it's ok for you to call her cell phone. That's the number
you called with the 399 prefix. Stephanie was sad to hear that you were crying and as soon as we figure out the blasted
digital camera that we have on layaway we'll send you as many pictures as we can.
Simba
So, I'm finally sending you a few pictures of our little girl :). She is working the cows and playing hard with her daddy
every day - and loving every minute of it! She's such a sweetheart, kind of timid at times, but absolutely precious.
We think the world of her. Most of these were taken in November/December, but the one on the bean bag (one
of her favorite spots) is from tonight.
Last time I checked making a little money was the best motivator of mankind towards producing
a quality product.
Border Collies are not house dogs, makes them unhappy as well as their owners. It grieves
me that stupidity is becoming rampant in the owners of this breed, it will lead to no good for the breed itself, which is
one of the few remaining not ruined by "breeding the brains out of them".
Thank you for the dam's pedigree, I have printed it off. Did you happen to have Deacon's
sire's pedigree as well?
One thing you don't need to worry about is our dog's being loved. The bad thing about it
is being a cow dog is a risky occupation and we will deal with it very poorly should he ever be seriously injured. The
other side is that it would kill him not to be allowed to work cattle. I had to use my brother's pens one day, which
are not designed for dog escape routes, consequently Deke had to be shut on the porch after helping to pen the cows, you would
have thought I had beaten him he was so distraught!
Thanks again for the help.
Hi,
Well actually, Lynne (being a
true south Georgia girl) changed his name to Ricky Bobby. Our shepherd is named David Lee. Here are some pictures
of them at home, at the vacation home in FL, on the boat, on the beach and helping Lynne groom a cat. Ricky Bobby is
her constant companion and goes to work with her every day. All of her customers love him and he is often invited to
stay for a “play date” with their dogs. Lynne’s business was featured in the January issue of the
Newnan-Coweta magazine. Of course, Ricky Bobby was included and has become a celebrity in the area. One picture
is kind of fuzzy, but it’s of Ricky Bobby and David Lee eating together the first day we had him. I’ll send
a few messages with attachments. Our system won’t send all pics at once.

As you probably heard, we had some "snow flurries" here the past couple of weeks. On Saturday, I was able to
take the small digital camera with me when Brylan and I went sledding behind the house (hence the poor resolution
with the cropping and all). Although they still wouldn't hardly sit still, I finally got some shots of them in their
new element; frozen Dihydrogen Oxide. There are a few pics here and they add up, so I zipped them for your convenience
as I was pretty sure you'd like to see all of them.
Hope all is well with you.

Blue Willow got her first blue and qualifing run in agility on Sat. She did the jumper coarse in record time. Coarse
time was 25 sec for 131 yds. and she ran it in 15.87 sec. She is know as the border collie on crack but the all comment
on her great obiedience skills. I was very happy for her to redeam herself. She has gotten other qualifing runs and is
great in the gamble. But this was awsome. She went herding last wknd and the instructor couldn't say enough about
her. She is aging well and is finally focusing. The difference in the demeanor of the sheep when she walked into the ring,
verses the other dogs was great. I have had several agility people ask where we got her and gladly tell them. Her
cousin Rogue is doing well in flyball also.
Well, Smokey is settling in nicely. He’s housebroken and knows to sit and come. He is even trying to ‘herd’
the boys to bed at night!
As you may remember, we purchased a male BC from you 2 1/2 years ago, who we renamed. He's been a great dog - now working
sheep - and a good breeder - we're expecting our second litter.

Sorry I havent sent the carrier back yet, going to do that this week. Hurting for money, and still jobless /sigh. But
he is doing good, he took to me rather quickly. He is up to 30 lbs, and likes to try and herd all the cats here, its
rather amusing at times.
Quinn
I have contacted you before becasue my brother adopted a puppy fromyou and now Quinn is mine. I have had Quinn
for about 3 1/2 years. She just turned four December 8th. I fell in love with a male border collie at the
mall. He is beautiful, very stocky, big paws, big blue eyes and he seemed to hhave a good temperment. Ther were
a couple of problems number 1 he was in a mall, and number 2 they were selling him for 1500 dollars. I really would
love another one VERY BAD. My brother suggested I contact you to see what you have availalbe or will have available in the
future. Thank you so much. Merry Xmas.
Rosemarie and I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I thought you would like to see some pictures of Rhett. We flue back to Kansas City and as you will see, Rhett flue with
us. He also works with children as you will see. We take him every Wednesday to the Mukilteo assistant living home where he
works with people who are close to Alzheimer’s: In addition, he scored more points in a Novice run at Island Crossing
herding trials. I missed up penning on the first run by letting the sheep run under the rope and just ran out of time.
To look at the scores, you will need to open the document in Excel.
Have a wonderful 2007
Annabelle
If you are ever traveling north, please give us a call, We'd love for you to see how beautiful sweet she turned
out to be.
Talk to you soon. . . Have a great Christmas!

Rose I love the new site! OMG! I can see Callie in all of those pics! LOL! She is a fantastic dog. although she doesn't
trust people she doesn't know. And she doesn't play well with other dogs. LOL! She's bossy! LOL!
But she is absolutely amazing.
She loves to play..... Well she loves to play anything! And she is very good at everything she does.
Ball & frisbee are her favorite. She doesn't let herself be bored, when everyone else is tired out, she makes her own
games. Ha Ha But you have to watch because all of a sudden one of her toys will come flying past your face! LOL! So we are
all acustomed to ducking, at a seconds notice.LOL!
Now that I work at Petco, I get to take her to work with me. So she is getting used to being more social. She loves everyone
at work, And they all love her. She brings much happiness & fun to the workplace, but she wasn't too sure of my Boss
dressed as Santa. LOL!
She is very protective & Loyal. And she loves helping. She helps carry Firewood, or if I drop something I ask her
to pick it up for me. this makes her feel good. She's like yeh mom I can do that. Ha Ha I'm Good. LOL!
And that grin! OMG! You gotta love it. It can be very scarey for people who don't understand what it means. For instance
when her ball is in their hand and she is waiting for them to throw it. LOL!
Anyway I could go on & on about Callie. I really wanted her to be agility, but she is unpredictable, with people
she & dogs she doesn't know. But she is getting better with that. so who knows, maybe in the future.
But either way She is happy We are happy, & That is all that matters. Again I want to thank you for her. We love
her sooooo much. And she is always very happy! And up beat.
And no one can even get near or in my house with her here. She is always on duty.Oh and actually she is better at putting
her toys away in her toy basket than my kids used to be. LOL!
I will keep in touch, and I always refer you when someone is looking for a border. That is If I think they are worthy
of having a Border.
Have a merry Christmas And a safe & Happy New Year!
Love Terri And Callie Jane( Calamity Jane)
Ladybug
She is doing fine, and adjusting to her new home and canine friends.
Her page is so cute! All of the dogs are so cute! I love the music too!
Can you tell me again what
I need to do to change Lily's name on her papers? It says Tiger Lily and I ended up naming her Lily Rose. I wanted
Rose in her name somewhere..hehe.
Lynn
Firstly, thanks for the IBCA paperwork; I'm going to file it after they get their microchips.
Secondly, I was
wondering if you could tell me about the Dam and Sire (weights, traits, and any photos you might have); I just like to know
that stuff... no biggie....
Lastly, a little history about their names and why they have them. For instance,
is Bonnie Blue for "the" Bonnie Blue or Scarlett's daughter, or, or... once again, I just like to know this stuff.
Everything's
going great here. Bonnie Blue is definitely more outwardly "Border Collie" than Buck, i.e. more tenacious, more eye, and herding
everything she can; unfortunately, Buck is more often than not the "herdee" in those situations. Buck has those traits
but he's definitely more laid-back; they wrestle constantly and this is about the only time Buck can use his weight advantage.
They've
had all their vaccinations and they weighed-in at 23 lbs. (Buck) and 19 lbs. (Bonnie) Saturday at the Vet's. We've already
had a fair amount of snow and temperatures at or below zero and they found it all quite exciting, especially the snow.
I tried to get some pictures of them in the deep stuff but they won't hold still!
Literally, everyone who comes
in contact with them falls in love. It seems like you did some great socialization work with them as they are "darlings"
compared to the ranch and farm Border Collies I've had up until now. That definitely helps in the semi-urban world they
occasionally inhabit. They've also been to the barn a few times and love the horse poop and all the other dogs; well,
Bonnie loves to herd them, that is.
Little did we know that when we got Bonnie Blue that improved home security was
an added benefit. Now, thanks to her, our home is free from the threat of brooms, snow shovels, and mops. Sadly
though, we still suffer from the scourge of vacuum cleaners... :-)
Lucille loves them but she tries not to show it.
They love her to death and every time they see her they run and kiss her mouth like crazy. Of course, she hates that
but unless she's really tired or cranky (13 years old, so it happens) she tolerates it. But they know she's in charge
and she breaks up the fighting when "she's" had enough.
So, happy pups, happy people; in LA-speak, "It's all good..."
jd
I think your site is fabulous!!
I'll take pictures of Rose by this weekend. I need to do the kids Christmas pictures, too!! :-)
Chat soon!
Sus
If I spelled your name wrong, I apologize. Anna is doing well. She's starting to ride in the car a little better. Her
hair is getting to be just like Tucker's and when she goes to my parents' home, she has a blast with him and the others. I'll
attach a picture, it's a month old, but it's a good one.
When you get a chance, could you send me her papers?
... still have a peaceful feeling from the beauty and serenity of your home. Whenever I feel stressed, I'll
visualize your place!
I just LOVE Keelie! She is so precious and I can't wait until I get home from the conference so we can start officially
bonding and getting to know each other. I trust Susan with her, she's a LPN going to school for her RN and no small
children plus she is very particular about everything so I know that she will take super good care of her for me!
I'll call you later on today and let you know how she is doing but I can't thank you enough for my very special gift
~ just pray she and Zin will become super play buddies ~ he hasn't left my side this morning so I guess he really missed me...
Wish we were closer so I could give you a hand with everything ~ you have done such a beautiful job with everything and
in such a short amount of time!!!
Talk to you soon,
Love, Joey
Hello,
My name is Angela and I am the new owner of Tuff Stuff (aka Indiana). My boyfriend Kyle purchased him over the summer for
my birthday and I just wanted to let you know he is doing great. It took him a couple of weeks to get used to the indoors
and the busy activities of the suburbs, but he's adjusted well. Here are a few pictures of him now, if you're interested.
I just wanted to thank you again and wish you happy holidays!
-Angela
Just wanted to see if you were still out there, as I have not heard from you in a while. Shiloh is doing great...she's
my little sweetheart. We have a nice backyard that she can chase Riker around. Sometimes she comes in with a little
tuft of his fur in her teeth. I didn't know that was how you southern belles got your men? Anyway, we had another
litter last year, and I was there for her the entire time - save the sixth pup which did not show up on the x-ray, and was
born after I went to bed at 7 a.m. She certainly did not struggle or suffer any pain, but I could tell she was not comfortable,
and that did not sit well with me. So I'm out of it for a long while. Hope this finds you well. Let me know
how you are. Matt
