This is our farm in Winston-Salem, NC. The house was built in the 40's and was totally redone by a friend of ours
whose was a builder. The home had a barn, workshop, and a hundred year old log cabin!!
Rose and Thistle, Our Asheville, NC Farm
This home was built by the local residents in 1947, and every stone was carried from the river across the
street. Even the basement was stone.

The Rose and Thistle Logo was an original design by Shad from TC Roberson High School in Asheville where I
taught Home Economics. Shad used Bear's picture to create the logo, and I still have his original pencil sketch!!
